St. Lucia

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on its eastern shores and the Caribbean Sea on the west, the island of St. Lucia is for honeymooners seeking pleasure and enrichment derived from nature at its unspoiled best. One of the Windward islands of the Lesser Antilles and one of the jewels of the Caribbean, the island betrays its geographical location and has the feel of an island in the South Pacific. A St. Lucia honeymoon is perfect for the couple seeking beauty in their surroundings.

Highlights
  • The Pitons - Saint Lucia's famous twin peaks on the southwest coast rise straight out of the sea to a height of almost half a mile
  • Rain Forest - The national rain forest stretches from one side of the island to the other, sprawling over some 19,000 acres of mountains and valleys covered with lush foliage
  • Drive-in volcano - The world's only "drive-in" volcano is also in Saint Lucia's southwest
  • Diamond Falls and mineral baths - the Diamond Falls come down in six stages through sulphur springs that change the color of the water to brilliant shades of yellow, green and purple
  • Maria Islands nature Reserve - These tiny islands in southern Saint Lucia to the east of Vieux Fort are home to rare wildlife and birds. Several species exist nowhere else in the world
  • Bird watching - Saint Lucia is home to a number of rare, indigenous species, including the Jacquot - the island's own parrot
